We earn commissions from some links

BuilderSoftwareGuide participates in affiliate programs with some of the software vendors we review. This means that if you click a link on our site and sign up for a software subscription, we may receive a commission from the vendor at no additional cost to you.

Affiliate relationships we currently have (or are pursuing) include:

  • Buildertrend — We are in the process of joining the Buildertrend Ambassador Program. Links to Buildertrend are marked rel="nofollow sponsored".
  • Houzz Pro — Houzz Pro runs an affiliate program (approximately 10% of first-year subscription revenue). Links are marked accordingly.

Platforms we review that have no affiliate relationship with us include Procore, Fieldwire, and JobTread. We cover these because they're relevant to our readers — not because we earn money from them.

How affiliate relationships affect (and don't affect) our content

We maintain editorial independence. Affiliate commissions don't determine our rankings, recommendations, or the content of our reviews. We would rather give you an honest recommendation that doesn't earn us money than a biased one that does.

Specifically:

  • We do not accept payment for positive reviews or rankings.
  • We disclose affiliate links clearly on all pages where they appear.
  • We list real pricing, real cons, and real limitations even for software we earn commissions from.
  • We recommend non-affiliated software when it's the right fit for the reader.

FTC compliance

In accordance with FTC guidelines (16 C.F.R. Part 255), we disclose material connections between us and the brands whose products we mention. Affiliate links are our primary monetization mechanism and constitute a material connection.
